🕹️ More Control: draft pages, custom headers, sitemap, PWA settings, and more

As you know, we're always looking to give you more control to build what you like in WeWeb.

You can now:

  • Work on pages with a "Draft" status.
  • Add a custom sitemap, robots.txt file and more.
  • Prevent others from embedding your app in their projects.
  • Add custom headers to your WeWeb app.
  • Choose the display of the published PWA.
  • Disable the PWA option completely.

Let's learn more about each new feature.

Draft pages

You can now save a page as draft. Pages with "Draft mode" enabled won't be included when you publish your WeWeb app.

Custom file paths

You can now set a path to the app files you upload to WeWeb.

This is great to implement Apple Pay, add a custom sitemap, or a custom manifesto and service worker for your PWA for example.

Custom headers & iframe embedding

You can now prevent others from embedding your WeWeb app altogether or only allow it for projects on the same domain name as your WeWeb app.

You can also add any other custom headers you might like, to implement a Content Security Policy for example.

New PWA settings

When you publish your WeWeb app, you can now choose to disable the PWA feature to prevent users from installing the app on their devices.

If you leave the PWA feature enabled, you now also have the option to choose the display style of the PWA.
