A passionate team on a mission to make web development more accessible to non-programmers, empowering them to bring their ideas to life.
We want to make the process of building applications on your own a truly enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
Inspired by the rise of component based frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, and Angular) and decoupled architecture, we saw an opportunity to help individual business owners build their websites using their mobile phones.
Led by 42 CAP and Aglae Ventures we raised our first round of funding.
Energized, we put our heads together to build a product that customers would love and want.
We joined the best startup accelerator, Y Combinator, and learned from the collective wisdom of YC partners and alums.
After conversations with hundreds of customers, we noticed a growing trend: many were using WeWeb to create web applications, not just websites.
We listened to our customers and launched WeWeb 2.0 focused on building web applications.
The new WeWeb attracted thousands of users, who were impressed with the new experience.
Our mantra has always been: talk to customers, build, ship, iterate.
In 2023, we made WeWeb easier to use by refining the editor’s interface, introducing components, and adding more data sources.
We also introduced the WeWeb Academy to help users learn and succeed.
This year was all about pushing the boundaries.
We introduced a Figma plugin for seamless design imports, made WeWeb apps 50x faster, and launched the WeWeb Marketplace.
We also explored how AI can transform the building process in WeWeb.
With WeWeb 3.0, we’re taking no-code web development to the next level by embedding AI at its core, making powerful tools accessible to everyone, regardless of their skill level.
The future of building is here, with WeWeb.
Our team is the soul of our company. We all believe that these values are essential for success.
We try to be kind towards our teammates, customers, and the wider community even when it’s challenging.
Team-wide transparency is our norm. We openly discuss our work, decisions, and difficulties.
We put the team before personal accolades. After all, talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships.
We love to experiment, take calculated risks, and learn from our failures. Few ideas work on the first try.
We at WeWeb embrace remote work and connect daily on Gather. Many of us move around the globe.
We also have a cozy office space in Paris where we collaborate in person when needed.
A close knit team from all over the world that strongly believes in helping each other.
Solve exciting challenges at the crossroads of AI and no-code development.
